Hammer Lake Camp offers a unique relaxation in nature on a large plot of land with a pond full of trout. Enjoy the true atmosphere of camping - catch your own trout and grill it right by the water. The area also includes boating, a relaxation area and entertainment for children in the form of a trampoline, swings and, upon agreement, electric quad bikes. Of course, there is a complete infrastructure including electricity, running water, sanitary facilities in a sanitary container (kitchen, toilet, showers) and services for caravanners. On hot days, you will find it convenient to sit in the woods by the stream.
Hammer Lake Camp combines peaceful camping in nature with a unique fishing experience right on a private lake full of trout. Guests can catch their own fish, grill them, and enjoy a quiet retreat surrounded by forests. Families with children will appreciate the friendly atmosphere, plenty of play space, and attractions for the little ones. On hot days, sitting in the woods by the stream is a great idea.

Hammer Lake Camp is located in a quiet area near the town of Medzev, surrounded by nature and forests in the Košice - Surroundings region. Thanks to its location, it offers an ideal place for relaxation, fishing and an escape from the everyday hustle and bustle of the city.
Experience the best attractions
Discover a variety of activities right on the premises and in its surroundings - from sport fishing on a private trout pond to boating, hiking or cycling on the surrounding trails. Families with children will enjoy children's attractions, a trampoline, a sandbox and rides on electric quad bikes, thanks to which both young and old will enjoy their stay. In the vicinity there is a ranch with horse riding, a city swimming pool, an observatory, museums, nature trails.
What to do
At Hammer Lake Camp you can enjoy sport fishing on a private lake full of trout, boating and evening barbecues right by the water. The surrounding area offers numerous hiking and cycling trails, including the Heroes of the Slovak National Uprising trail and nature trails suitable for families with children. For the little ones, there is a trampoline, sandbox, swings and electric quad bike rides.
Dining options
Enjoy a unique gastronomic experience right by the lake - catch fresh trout and prepare it on the grill in nature. There is a barbecue area and pleasant evening sitting by the fire, which completes the true atmosphere of relaxation at the campsite.
Food delivery is possible from a nearby pizzeria and street food burger stand.
Trout pond
Our campsite includes a private pond stocked with rainbow trout.
Fish are easy to catch, which is a big advantage over all-day fishing trips without a catch, in fishing grounds. In an hour of fishing with us, you are able to catch a sufficient number of fish for grilling and freezing for later consumption. Such fishing is especially interesting for children who are less patient. With us, experienced fishermen can catch trout, but also beginners, for whom we do crash courses on weekends. We can also rent fishing equipment.
The fish caught must then be bought back, as a stung trout may not survive after being released into the pond.

Frequently asked questions
Question: Is it possible to fish in your area without a fishing license and permit?
Yes, our private trout pond offers fishing to the general public without the need to purchase a permit. If you don't have fishing equipment, we will be happy to lend it to you, and we can also train you upon request. You can grill your catch or take it home.
Question: Can children also do fishing?
Yes, fishing here is also suitable for children, they have been successful fishermen since the age of 5.
Upon agreement, we will train both children and parents.
Question: Is it possible to stay with a dog?
Yes, animals are welcome. However, the owner is obliged to supervise the animal so that it does not disturb other campers. Of course, it must remove feces, sticks, bury the holes made, etc.

Very peaceful place with relaxed and helpful owners. The land is fenced off from the road, so the children had freedom here and in combination with the trampoline and quad bike they were sad that we continued to the next place. When a person is set up to ensure hygiene by a latrine and a stream, he will not miss anything :)
